Biography
Maya E. Missaghi has been practicing law since 2016 in the areas of elder law, probate, estate planning and guardianship. She most enjoys contested cases where a good argument is in order. Before becoming a lawyer, Maya E. Missaghi worked as a preschool and prekindergarten teacher at a French immersion school. It turns out that this experience prepared her well for handling difficult cases, temper tantrums and tough negotiators, as well as finding ways to play nicely together when possible.
A European transplant, Maya now happily lives in Saint Paul with her husband and two children. She enjoys volunteering through the local bar association (2025-2026 President) and locally in her neighborhood. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, baking and finding sweaters for the family dog.
