Ms. Clysdale is engaged in the general practice of law, with an emphasis on civil litigation, family law and probate.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Clysdale worked for five years as a project manager and a policy analyst at the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. She served on the Board of Directors for the Solid Waste Association of North America and the Forum: Women in the Environmental Field.
Ms. Clysdale graduated from William Mitchell College of Law cum laude in 2004, where she was an editor of the law review. She also worked as a certified student attorney for the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office in the Civil Division. Following law school, Ms. Clysdale served as a law clerk for the Honorable Stephen L. Muehlberg in Washington County.
Ms. Clysdale is a volunteer attorney for the Chrysalis Law Clinic held at Neighborhood House, where she gives legal advice to low income women regarding domestic abuse and other family matters. Ms. Clysdale also volunteers through Washington County Legal Aid and regularly provides pro bono legal advice through the Legal Advice Clinic in Washington County.
Ms. Clysdale serves as the secretary on the St. Paul Neighborhood Network (SPNN) Board of Directors. She is also an active member of the SPNN Executive, Public Relations and the Finance Committees.
Ms. Clysdale is admitted to practice in the State of Minnesota and U.S. District Court. She is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Ramsey County Bar Association and the Warren E. Burger Inn of Court. Ms. Clysdale is the Co-Chair of the Ramsey County Bar Association Family Law Section and is an active member of the Bench and Bar Committee. In 2007, Ms. Clysdale was selected by her peers as a Rising Star.
