Ms. Brenner is engaged in the general practice of law, with an emphasis on family law and civil litigation.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Brenner taught grade school and English as a Second Language in Russia. Upon her return to the U.S., she worked at AFS Intercultural Programs, an international student and teacher exchange program.
Ms. Brenner is a member of the inaugural class of University of St. Thomas School of Law. While at St. Thomas, she was a State Board Member for the Minnesota Justice Foundation, St. Thomas Minnesota Justice Foundation Student Chapter founding member and Co-chair, founding member of the University of St. Thomas Day of Service, among other volunteer activities. She also worked as a certified student attorney for the Minnesota Indian Women’s Resource Center’s Legal Department, assisting survivors of domestic abuse with their legal needs.
Following law school, Ms. Brenner served as a law clerk to the Honorable Joseph F. Chase in Olmsted County and then to the Honorable Denise D. Reilly in Hennepin County.
Ms. Brenner is a member of the University of St. Thomas School of Law Alumni board.
Ms. Brenner is admitted to practice law in the State of Minnesota. She is a member of the Minnesota State, Ramsey County and Hennepin County Bar Associations. She is also a member of Minnesota Women Lawyers.
