Ms. Clysdale is engaged in the general practice of law, with an emphasis on family law, professional responsibility and civil litigation. She is also a Rule 114 Mediator and Qualified Neutral. In 2008, 2009, and 2010, Ms. Clysdale was selected by her peers as a Rising Star.
Ms. Clysdale graduated from William Mitchell College of Law cum laude, where she was an editor of the law review. She also worked as a certified student attorney for the Ramsey County Attorney's Office in the Civil Division. Following law school, Ms. Clysdale served as a law clerk for the Honorable Stephen L. Muehlberg in Washington County.
Currently, Ms. Clysdale is a volunteer at the Ramsey County Self-Help Center, the Washington County Legal Advice Clinic, and is a volunteer mediator through Ramsey County Family Court.
Ms. Clysdale is on the Ramsey County Bar Association's ("RCBA") Board of Directors, is the Co-Chair of the RCBA Bench and Bar Committee and is a delegate to the Minnesota State Bar Association Assembly. She has also served as the Co-Chair of the RCBA Family Law Section.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Clysdale worked for five years as a project manager and a policy analyst at the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Solid Waste Association of North America, the Forum: Women in the Environmental Field, and the St. Paul Neighborhood Network (SPNN).
