Practice Experience
Dan O'Connell helps clients overcome the fear and uncertainty of divorce. Named a "Best Lawyer" for execellence in family law, he guides his clients through a respectful, streamlined divorce process. He is a mediator and arbitrator. He practices family law, professional responsibility, and mediation. His calming demeanor and empathetic personality help him assist clients and lawyers toward amicable and dignified resolutions through Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). He is dedicated to the resolution of family conflict through membership in the Collaborative Law Institute, Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, and as a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. If there is not a reasonable settlement available, Mr. O'Connell is a skilled trial attorney who will take the case to trial. Mr. O'Connell has been a mediator since 1991. He mediates both civil law and family law disputes. He has been representing lawyers, doctors, dentists and other professionals in licensing and ethics matters for over twenty years.
