Practice Experience
Mr. Wachtler is engaged in the general practice of law, with emphasis on public sector labor law, personal injury, general civil litigation and criminal defense. He also regularly handles appeals and election law matters. Representative clients include the Minneapolis and St. Paul Police Federations, and Law Enforcement Labor Services.
Before joining the firm in 2001, Mr. Wachtler prosecuted a wide range of felony criminal cases during four years as an Assistant Washington County Attorney. He also served as an Assistant Pine County Attorney from 1996-1998.
From 2002-2006, Mr. Wachtler served on the Independent School District 624 (White Bear Schools) school board.
Chris and his wife Missy and their three boys live in White Bear Lake where Chris coaches youth hockey and baseball, and where they are active church volunteers.
